The Australian Country Music Foundation (ACMF) has established, and operates, Australia's national country music archive and resource centre and Australia's Country Music Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame includes many exhibits telling the stories of Australia's country music pioneers.

Collection: 

The collection is all things country music from the beginning up to today but with an emphasis on pre 1970s, the first 40 years or so of Australian country music. Many interesting artefacts are on display from pioneers such as Tex Morton, Buddy Williams, Smoky Dawson, Slim Dusty, Shirley Thoms, Gordon Parsons and many more. Special exhibitions currently tell the story of country music festivals in Australia (currently Gympie, soon Mildura), the Australian Country Music Hands of Fame and the history of Australia's pre-eminent country music award the Golden Guitar. Historic videos available for viewing in our on site theatrette.
