The Archives is housed in the Petersham Town Hall, one of the few remaining Art Deco town halls that has been maintained in original condition.

Admission: 
There is no fee for researchers who visit the Archives in person.

Collection: 

Records held are from the former St Peters Municipal Council 1871 - 1948 and Petersham Municipal Council 1872 - 1948. These two Councils merged with Marrickville Council, which was incorporated in 1861, in 1949 after the introduction of the Local Government (Areas) Act of 1948.
