Collection:
Current holdings comprise an estimated 5 000 books, 135 000 microfiche, 320 microfilms, 150 CD-Roms, 400 Maps and cemetery photographs. The society provides assistance for anyone tracing their family tree - whether an absolute beginner or a long term devotee. Regular workshops on tracing family history and related subjects are conducted by volunteer members and others. Special interest groups hold workshops and meet for discussions, and the library holds an extensive range of records that will assist with research in Queensland, other Australian states and overseas.
