Our museums goal is to tell the story of ordinary Australian motoring. We are a social history museum with a dynamic exhibition and events program. A scenic drive through the Adelaide hills leads to the small town of Birdwood.

The museum is located in a heritage building in the heart of the Adelaide central business district. All items in the collection relate to freemasonry in South Australia and the Northern Territory, covering the period from 1834 to the present day.
The complex is comprised of a stone courthouse, police station, police horse stables and original lock-up. Established in 1848, it played an important role in the development of the district.

The New Land Gallery is unique in a national context for preferentially assisting the career development of South Australian country-based artists.
Based in the Adelaide Central School of Art, Adelaide Central Gallery began in 1987 as an artist-run exhibition space. Its programme includes the work of well known and emerging artists in all media from both Adelaide and interstate. The exhibitions are managed by a gallery director.
The Mannum Dock Museum is located on the banks of the River Murray in the historic river port town of Mannum. The Museum incorporates the paddlesteamer P.S. Marion, the historic Randell Dry Dock and the Mannum Tourist Information Centre.

The Military Vehicle Collectors Society of South Australia Inc was formed in 1976, and opened their Museum in 1993.
Purpose built local government archival facility complete with environmentally controlled repositories, public search room and conservation laboratory.The archives contain 5,000 records. In the Civic Ccollection there are 3,000 items including 400 artworks.
