The Community History Collection is part of the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery. It can be accessed via the database. There are also printed guides of some parts of the Collection. All secondary material is available without appointment. All primary material (original documents) is available with at least 24 hours notice prior to your visit. The Community History Collection consists of photographs, oral history tape recordings, primary and secondary documents (including local government, business, community organisations and personal records), as they relate to Tasmanian history, with an emphasis on the cultural and social history of northern Tasmania.
