Berndt Museum of Anthropology
The Berndt Museum of Anthropology, located on the Crawley campus of the University of Western Australia, 10 minutes by bus from Perth's CBD, holds one of the world's finest collections of Australian Aboriginal art and cultural materials, as well as an Asian collection (containing Australia's finest Himalayan collection) and Melanesia (principally from Papua New Guinea). The Museum also holds extensive historical collections of photographs, audio and visual recordings.

9,000 ethnographic and art items; 30,000 photographs; 3,000 reference books; c.10 collections of field notes, tape recordings. Elements of the Museum's collections are accessible online. Its illustrated catalogues are fully digitised and are available for inspection.
