Cliff Grange

Cliff Grange

Built c.1870 as home for the manager of the nearby Mill, Cliff Grange in later years became the Thomas Clinch family homestead. It remained in the family's possession for over 100 years. Cliff Grange enjoys a picturesque outlook over the Greenough Hamlet, its old Norfolk Island pine trees forming a local landmark in the Front Flats of Greenough. The home is a large single story stone structure of ten rooms including large farmhouse kitchen, music room, cellar and office. It has been attractively furnished in a style reflecting the residence of the Clinch family and offers visitors a clear picture of the way of life of farming pioneers in the district.
