Landsborough Museum

Landsborough Museum

Established in 1976 by the

Shire of Landsborough Historical Society Inc.

One of the largest social history museums between Gympie & Brisbane, collecting in the area now known as Caloundra City, Qld. The museum is housed in the original Landsborough Shire Council Building built in 1924 with a rammed earth construction extension in 1988. All displays are under cover.

Adults $8, Pensioners $7, Children U 15 Free if accompanied with a paying adult. Groups, min 15, Adults $4, Children $2.50

William Landsborough Collection

William Landsborough was a statesman, explorer, government official, who spent his final years on a property at Golden Beach, Caloundra.

Landsborough township is named in honour of William Landsborough as are many other of the shire's landmarks and places.
