Mount Bauple & District Historical Society Inc.

Mount Bauple & District Historical Society Inc was officially opened in February 2001. It was established to collect and preserve the local history which was being lost. Our collection reflects the early history of the Tiaro Shire; the museum houses a treasure trove of memorabilia including old photographs, antiques and collectables dating back more than a century. Situated 6km off the highway, with entry from the north or south, the small township of Bauple is within easy driving distance for daytrips from Bundaberg and Hervey Bay to the north or the Sunshine Coast to the south.
