Briagolong Mechanics' Institute
Briagolong Mechanics' Institute, which dates from 1874, includes the original library, with books dating from 1835 to 1957 (last book added). the building is registered by the National Estate and includes a general collection of historic photographs and other memorabilia. The building is little changed from the last major extension of 1907, and the collection is thus housed in evocative surroundings.
