E. de C. Clarke Geological Museum

The Museum aims to show the diversity of topics available within the science of Geology. The displays are targeted primarily at high school science students and show aspects of geology that are relevant to the science and social studies units taught in high school. Specialities of the collection include Devonian and Permian fossils of Western Australia; lithological and mineralogical suites from various WA mines; and material depicting the geology of WA.

Approximately 120,000 specimens comprising 30,000 minerals; 100 meteorites; 50,000 rocks; 40,000 fossils; and 200 gems
