The Map Collection comprises maps, charts, atlases, gazetteers and other materials related to spatial information. The collection provides study facilities for researchers and is supported by a Map Librarian.

The Map Collection is supported by a specialist Map Librarian. A quiet study area is available in the Map Collection with large tables for easy use of sheet maps. A light / tracing table is also available for drawing. Photocopiers are located in close proximity to the Map Collection.
Collection:
Located in the Hargrave-Andrew Library, Clayton campus, the collection contains maps from around the world with an emphasis on geological and topographical maps of Australia, and in particular, Victoria. There are also maps and charts of the oceans, Australian charts, atlases and gazetteers. Books and serial publications related to maps and spatial information are included in the collection. Tourist maps covering some areas of Australia and other parts of the world form a minor part of the collection.
