Parkes Observatory Visitors Discovery Centre
The 64 metre Parkes radio telescope is a gigantic measuring instrument, used to examine a wide range of radio energies from our galaxy and other parts of the universe. The Visitors Discovery Centre, which stands in the shadow of the dish, primarily caters for public curiosity about the radio telescope and astronomy.
