Lake Bathurst Museum
Within the Lake Bathurst Lavender Gardens and Tearooms complex are not one, but three little museums. One, in the old church hall contains artefacts, photos of railway history and memorabilia of earlier life in the village (the Honor Roll shows 12 men from this tiny village went off to WWI).
Railway and Motor Museums A permanent photographic exhibition is a recent addition to the Railway Heritage display and features a gallery of photographs and other memorabilia of the Goulburn to Crookwell railway line from 1902 to 2002. Exhibits include the actual restored Lake Bathurst railway waiting room (1884) and a station model as depicted during the 1950s. Display of classic MG sports cars. Motoring Memorabilia including vintage petrol bowser display.
