Narrabri Old Gaol Heritage Centre
The museum is housed in The Old Narrabri Gaol which is listed on the National Estate Register and classified by the National Trust. Exhibits are mounted in the cells, exercise yards and outbuildings. They consist mainly of historical items associated with life in the town of Narrabri and surrounding district.

100,000+ file reference cards to local people, photographs, local newspapers from late 1800s and on microfilm, World War memorabilia, family history records, and burial records.

Description:
The bellows served the blacksmith's on Killarney Station, one of the large "runs" of the district, held from 1880 to the 1930s by the Buchanan family. The bellows were still in use in 1950.

Railway Clock

Description:
Early 20th Century platform clock (restored 1989) - was recovered from the Narrabri town station in the late 1880s. The movement is British and the dial surround is cast iron from the railway workshop.

Description:
Four saddles were discovered in a mountain cave near Narrabri in 1983 by bushwalkers. At this time there is no conclusive proof of their origin. (Ref: Journal of Narrabri & District Historical Society vol 1 no 4)
