Theatre Organ Society of Australia (NSW Division) Inc.

The care and preservation of Pipe Organs from the movie theatres of the 1920's as a means of entertainment. Concerts are presented on Wurlitzer Pipe Organs every 6-8 weeks, featuring local, interstate and overseas theatre organists. Membership to the society is invited.

Originally used to accompany silent films. Once films had their own sound, the organ was used to provide entertainment between films until it was de-commissioned in 1956. Purchased by the Theatre Organ Society of Australia (NSW division). It is now at the Orion Centre in Campsie.

Originally used to accompany silent films between 1924-27, once films had their own sound, theatre organs were used mainly to provide entertainment between films. This organ was purchased by the Theatre Organ Society (NSW division) in 1964. The organ was restored by the society's members and installed in Marrickville Town Hall in 1968
