Mallala & Districts Historical Committee

The museum houses the social, business community and agricultural history of the people of the Mallala district and the stories of the Mallala RAAF Base. It also records the significant military service of the community through the Boer War, Great Wars, Modern conflicts and peacekeeping activities, and the history of the No6 Service Flight Training School, Mallala during WW2

Facilities: 
Wheelchair friendly, easy parking, toilets, and volunteers who will happily guide you through the exhibits. Morning/Afternoon tea by prior arrangement. A small shady reserve adjoins the museum.

"Times of Confllict" - The District residents who served their fellow Australians during times of conflict in the Great War, World War Two and in the arenas of conflict in Vietnam, Malaysia and Borneo
