Inglewood & District Historical Society Inc
The Museum opened in June 2000. It contains 'The Golden Leaf' - 17 text panels display the history of growing tobacco and its impact on the district; 'Cunningham Legacy' - framed photos; and 'The Squatters' Legacy' - eight text panels about pastoral runs. Open from 11am to 3pm on the second Saturday and last Saturday of the month or by appointment. Craft shop on premises. Members will open Centre.
The Society aims to collect, preserve and research items that relate to the area in the fields of natural resources, exploration, settlement, education, culture, agriculture, industry and transportation that contribute significantly to the area's history. Founded October 1992.
A newsletter is published quarterly; 'Inglewood Shire in Retrospect'; and 'Inglewood & District Pioneer register Pre-1900'.
