Griffith Artworks

Griffith Artworks is the management authority for 2500 objects that make up the Griffith University Art Collection, the On-campus Exhibition Program across 100 sites on five campuses between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, and acts as a Resource/Archive Centre for students undertaking curatorial, art historical and cultural studies at Queensland College of Art Griffith University. Griffith Artworks is also responsible for the management and programming of the QCA Gallery at the Queensland College of Art, South Bank campus.

The Griffith University Art Collection was established with the founding of the University in 1973 and acquires works by contemporary Australian artists. The Collection comprises works on paper, including prints, paintings, drawings, photographs and electronic based media.
