Mt Isa Tent House

The only surviving tent house in Mt Isa. The house was built in 1937 as one of many workers houses built by Mt Isa Mines to a standard pattern. This design was thought to derive from tent housing and incorporates a free standing roof and frame covering a separate structure with a canvas ceiling.
