Port MacDonnell and District Maritime Museum
This museum has developed specialised tours of Port Macdonnell in conjunction with the museum visit. The museum displays are informative, well set out and easy to read, and include over 600 photographs. A museum guide will join a group and explain the local highlights.

Collection:
Many items from the 30 ships wrecked along the coast plus details of visiting ships and lost ships along the coastline. Covering three sections; "The Shipwreck Coast" including 30 wrecks and details of 15 other shipping mishaps, artefacts from several shipwrecks, "Port Macdonnell the Trading Port" with details of the early history and trades which operated in the area; and the Fishing Industry (particularly relating to Rock Lobsters). Comprehensive Photograph collection of over 800 photographs.
