Brisbane City Gallery
The collection dates from 1859 to the present and consists of paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photographs and memorabilia relating to the city of Brisbane. It contains portraits of alderman, landscape views of Brisbane city and works by contemporary Brisbane artists. The gallery owns a large collection of photographs and approximately 1400 works of art. It is housed in a ground floor wing of the Brisbane City Hall.
