Windsor and Districts Historical Society Inc.
Housed in the historic old Windsor Council Chambers, the Society maintains displays of articles and equipment used in the locality, for example stonemason tools, a cash register and baskets from the local laundry, a 1924 wedding veil etc. It also houses a small library of local books and a photographic collection and display. Complete listings of council members have been compiled and the Mayor's Chair used up to 1925 in the main chambers is a featured display. A reference listing of over 27 000 burials at Lutwyche Cemetery is available for researchers. The museum collection contains stonemason's tools, local bottles, 1924 wedding veil and bricks from famous houses and local brickyards.
