Description: 
Quilt top in 38mm hexagons set in straight rows surrounded by cream hexagons with an odd coloured hexagon in middle of cream row. Papers have been removed. Fabrics are 1920s and 1930s. There is no padding. 1700 x 1000mm
History: 

The quilt top was made by Nora Ewing at Terrey Hills NSW between 1960 and 1964. It was given to the present owner, Diane Boynes, in 1965. It is not used.

Backing is of pink satin with pink satin ribbon covering the joining seams. Hand sewn with some machine stitching. Feather stitching along the edge. There is no padding.
