History:
Made by Kathleen White in Naracoorte (SA) about 1952. Now owned by her daughter Ann White.
Story:
"I took the wagga with me when I married & my eldest daughter claimed it as her special rug when she was quite small. When she was about 21 & had her own flat she took it with her.
I read a book called 'Aunt Jane of Kentucky' & each chapter was about a different quilt or scrap & I got inspired so sewed lots of bits onto an old blanket and made a Wagga.
My mother had been away & when she came home she told me it was a Wagga "
