Description:
Repeat block in wedding ring pattern. All cottons with cream background and mainly pale mauve and green dressmaking prints in wedding rings. Green border and cream calico backing. The padding is cotton. 1800 x 210mm.
History:
The quilt was made by Margaret Doran in Illinois USA in the 1930s. It then passed to her grand-daughter Rosanne Wold and then to the present owner Nancy Dunlap whose husband Keith is the great grandson of the maker. It is not used now.

Colours are bright, with pink, yellow, green, brown and light blue predominating. Fabric is plain, checks and stripes. No padding or quilting. Backing is a cotton bedspread, striped in pinks and magenta.

Colours are mainly light, with pinks, greens and blues predominating. No padding or backing. Quilt was not finished.
