Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts
The Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts is one of the State Library of Tasmania's heritage collections. It contains a collection of 18th and 19th century furniture, colonial paintings, silver and objets d'art, fine china and rare and antique books. The collection was left to the people of Tasmania by the late Henry Allport, a Hobart solicitor, and is housed on the ground floor of the State Library of Tasmania.
