Francis Burt Law Museum

Situated in the centre of Perth, the Francis Burt Law Museum is housed in the Old Court House, Perth's oldest remaining public building opened in 1837. It is the only Law Museum in Australia and one of very few law museums worldwide.

Located in the heart of the CBD, close to all public transport and in the setting of the beautiful Stirling Gardens; adjacent to the Supreme Court of Western Australia 1903. There is wheelchair access into the main courtroom and an educational program run by Francis Burt Law Education statt in which groups can participate in tours of the museum, Supreme Court , visits to courts in session, and participation in trial re-enactments in the Old Court House. Group bookings are by appointment.
