Story:
"The maker was born in Ballarat, Victoria 1905. Moved with family to Beulah (Victoria) when young. Married and moved to Swan Hill area farming, where she won many sewing awards at the Agricultural show.
Later she ran the Post Office at Moolart, near Maryborough (Victoria) and later retired to Maryborough. Eileen lived to be 93 years old. The quilt was bought with its original day bed for $25 at a garage sale at Talbot on 29.4.97. Bedding, mattress, pillows, mattress protector were all hand made." [Pauline Munro]
