Museum of Western Australian Sport
The Museum is located within the Challenge Stadium adjoining the leafy surrounds of Perry Lakes. It collects, exhibits and preserves the sporting heritage of the State, reflecting both elite sport and athletes and recreational sport and games. The collection comprises material such as Olympic medals, team blazers, sporting equipment, awards and trophies. New collection priorities reflect the Museum's growing interest in recreational and non-elite sport as played by children, the elderly, disabled people, and various cultural and ethnic groups. The Museum is open over 102 hours per week.
