Fremantle History Museum
The museum is a branch of the Western Australian Museum. It is housed in a significant, convict built, former lunatic asylum, listed on the Register of the National Estate. Exhibitions and collections reflect aspects of WA history, with a special focus on Fremantle and its communities. There is a community access gallery, with exhibition changing each three months and a travelling exhibition gallery.
