Mandurah Community Museum
The museum houses showcases which tell the history of early pioneers of Mandurah. A lifesize model of a Megamouth Shark (the original is in the WA museum) found on local beach is also on display. A schoolroom of early days is shown through a display of the original school, incorporated in the museum building. The museum building was the local police station and courthouse and includes original holding cells.<br>
From 11-15 May 2003, the museum will host the Scitech Roadshow - more than 15 hands-on science exhibits, exciting live science shows and a planetarium with programs designed for school groups and the general public. Contact the museum for more details.
