"Very unusual flying geese/ocean waves variation, very individual quilt, made in a variety of indigo & white 'geese' with predominantly a red and white tiny flower pattern in between but also a number of other cream and white stripes & dots. Centre to each block is a cream muslin block, some appear to be inset. Hand pieced and hand quilted in triple tramline in plain block & 1" diagonal on rest of quilt. History:
Nothing is known of the maker or history of the quilt. It was purchased in Paducah Kentucky USA 1996, Great American Quilt Tour, at a stall at the fair. It is now owned by Valerie Corey's daughter, Leanne Howell. The quilt is used.

Patchwork top made of cottons, constructed with 5 by 5 rows of squared 8 point pieced stars alternating with white cross-shaped blocks (made from 4 pieces). On all sides are borders of half stars. This is one of two single bed quilts in a pattern the owner calls 'Martha Washington's Flower Garden'. Flowers are in six hexagons in a variety of prints with a plain coloured centre. The background is cream, and the backing is calico. 2500 x 1800 mm.
This Adelaide Chronicle wildflower quilt has alternating squares of green and fawn headcloth embroidered with Australian wildflowers on the fawn squares and stylised floral motifs on the green squares. It is bordered and backed with the same green material. It is padded.

Patchwork quilt has a centre of a square within a square, with rows of scraps added around it. The scraps are mainly cotton shirting fabrics and are cut in different sizes and shapes. The two long sides have a narrow red edging folded from the back. The other two sides have been 'bagged'. Filling is an unusual weave thought to be wool. Backing is a pink, red and beige floral cotton.

Cotton quilt hand pieced and hand quilted. Eigth pointed star on a white background. 7 rows of 7 stars with a 70mm border. There is a padding or interlining. The backing is plain off white cotton twill.
