White cotton quilt of blocks with an embroidered flower in each one. The whole 'garden' is encircled by an appliqued picket fence. There is a cotton backing but no padding.

Hand appliqued and quilted white cotton quilt with Hawaiian type design in pink. There is a scalloped border also in pink and the backing is fine pink cotton. The padding is 'Mountain Mist'.

Wholecloth quilt mainly made from material with a green and yellow leaf pattern on a black background. This material was also used in another quilt. The backing has a large centre panel of checked material with panels either side of the leaf pattern from the top. The owner wrote that the uneven thickness of this quilt may indicate that old garments were used as 'batting' similar to her mother's (Matilda Pitt) quilts.

Migration Museum
Wholecloth quilt with top of dark purplish-pink cotton sateen and backing of black sateen printed with pink flowers. Hand quilted all over with a variety of patterns, including spirals and diamonds, parallel lines and hearts in the borders. Centre has a curved diamond shaped motif within a circular border of spirals. Padding is wool.

Wholecloth quilt made of two layers, the top in white cotton sheeting and the backing in a heavier white cotton twill. The layers are joined by quilting, handstitched in a chevron pattern using a coarse white cotton thread. The edges of the quilt are bound with strips of white cotton sheeting. Three edges of the quilt have a scalloped sedge with the top edge of the quilt straight.
Pencil marks are still visible, marking out the chevron pattern.

Quilt covered in pink and green paisley cotton material. The backing is cotton. The quilting is machined in parallel rows around the sides and in the centre in a scalloped design. The centre panel corners are finished with pink buttonhole stitching around a small hole. The filling is down.

Cotton appliqué quilt in green and pink 'Rose of Sharon' design, against a white background. Finely quilted with feathers between flowers and feathers on the border, with some cross hatching. Padding is cotton, and backing is white cotton. 2250 x 1700 mm.
Cotton quilt in green, red and white paisley print. It is sewn with 4 bands and 2 irregular centre shapes. The reverse side is identical to the top side. The padding is feathers.

Wholecloth quilt of white linen with signatures embroidered in satin and stem stitch. Approximately 400 signatures as well as the names of district servicemen are arranged in flower shapes and geometric grids. Embroidered title on the quilt reads: 'Rylstone Autograph Quilt. For our Australian wounded, Dardanelles, 1915.' There is no backing.

This quilt is made up of 25 squares, each 10 x 10 inches of pure white linen. Each squre has been hemstitched around and very neatly sewn together. The centre square is embroidered 'Gilgandra Methodist Church Renovations completed 1st October 1926. J.W.Hynes, President of Conference'. All other squares have names or initials beautifully embroidered in white. There are 238 signatures, 60 initials plus centre square.

Wholecloth quilt of pink satin with an edging all around of pleated satin. The quilting pattern is a central design of a large oval shape surrounded by crescents and parallel lines. The padding is cotton wadding.

Wholecloth quilt from Macedonia. Both sides are made of satin. Old gold colour on one side and burgundy on the other. It is machine quilted with 3 parallel lines of stitching around the edge and a double row of stitching forming triangles in the centre. The padding is raw cotton grown in (FYRO) Macedonia.

Mary-O Roberts
This domestic Wagga is made from an opened out jute wool bale as the padding with a woollen blanket as the backing. The top was originally curtains (brown cotton printed with daisies and dull yellow tulips) and the material has been folded over to the back for 60mm and stitched with 'Barbour's Linen Wax Thread' using running stitches about 50mm long. The whole domestic Wagga is then stitched in a large square grid.

Quilt top has a white background with pink and purple applique hearts and stars in the centre within a pink circle and square border, letters are appliqued in pink. Inscription is: 'Mary Hunt is my name Dapto is my dwelling place When I am dead and all my'� (incomplete)
