Inverell Transport Museum was formed to display Veteran, Classic and Antique vehicles for the locals and visitor to our district. Inverell is classed a one of the go ahead antique car clubs of the state.
The exhibition of the Tambar Springs Diprotodon is situated in the Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre/ The Bicentennial Exhibition building. It contains a skeleton of diprotodon and some other megafauna specimans. These exhibits are part of the Australian Museum Collection.
Wollongong City Gallery is one of the largest regional art museums in Australia. The dynamic exhibition program features the Gallery's permanent collection as well as temporary exhibitions which change monthly and include local, national and international art.
The Museum is housed in one of Katoomba's historic sandstone residences.
The Sir Hermann Black Gallery & Sculpture Terrace is owned and run by the University of Sydney Union. The University of Sydney Union is unique in New South Wales in being the only student body to maintain a gallery, sculpture terrace and a large art collection.
The College of Nursing archival collection contains records pertaining to the college, the development of nursing in Australia as well as individual nurses and other nursing organisation records.The collection consists of mostly paper records and photographs and a large nursing badge collection.
The Vaughan Evans Library is a research library with a specialist collection of resources in the areas of museology, maritime history and ship technology.
The museum complex consists of four historical buildings: the old Court House, the R.S.L. Hall, Boyd's (fishing) Shed and the Deck House of the drogher 'Terranora'.

Ku-ring-gai Library in Gordon has been built on the site of the former Gordon Public School and incorporates the original sandstone school building (1876 - 1913). The library's collection can be searched online at the web address listed below.
Bundanoon History Group Inc has a collection relevant to Bundanoon dating from 1862. The display is constantly rotated between the stack and display room.

Early Australian history with particular reference to the First Fleet of 1788 and their descendents.Reference books pertaining to First Fleet, early settlement of Australia and family trees.
The NSW Schoolhouse Museum is housed in the first school buildings of North Ryde Public School. The original schoolroom was built in 1877 and started with 45 children. A second room was added in 1893 and two further rooms were added in 1910.
The gallery is housed in a historic coach house stables and grooms quarters. The society members' paintings are exhibited along with craft, pottery and painted porcelain.
