Frame quilt with central square of floral patterned chintz with a yellow background, surrounded by borders of squares and rectangular pieced fabrics, dark pieces mostly alternating with light. It is hand pieced and flat quilted.
The inner part of the quilt is made from potato bags stitched together. These have been covered with a ticking type fabric held to the bags with large stitches using a string type thread. This whole inner layer is covered with muslin, dyed orange. The dye is thought to have been a Dolly dye. The quilt is very heavy. There are small hand stitches in each corner through all layers.

Patchwork quilt made from cotton hexagon patches constructed in the 'Grandmother's Flower Garden' pattern. The rosettes are set in horizontal rows with cream 'paths' between. The quilt is edged with a border, 21cm wide, of blue and white striped cotton in a trianglur pattern. No padding.

Animal skin rug made from skins of the Long-footed Potoroo, the skins trimmed to rectangular shapes then stitched together. Backing and edging is of dark red felt.

Wholecloth quilt, brown (tan) sateen both sides. Edges turned in and finished with fine running stitch. Hand quilted, simple cross hatched design with two linear borders. Has had flower shaped hole cut from the centre of one side. 5cm thick.

Quilt top in Bow Tie pattern incorporating floral and printed feed sacks and sugar and flour bags. There are embroidered names indicating it is an unfinished friendship quilt. 2010 x 1710mm.
Quilt made from 'blue bags' joined as small squares in rows. Approximately 180 blue bags in total. There is a frill around all sides.
Quilt of hexagons with a centre motif and continuous borders of hexagons and rosettes surrounding the centre. Quilt is of cotton dress and furnishing materials in red, green, yellow, purple, blue, pink and light brown, mostly florals, with some plains, stripes, dots and checks. It is hand sewn. There is no padding and the backing is calico.

A buggy rug of machine pieced patchwork of men's suiting samples. There is a large diamond of patches in the centre, bordered by rectangles. There is no padding. The backing is wholecloth tartan wool.

Quilt made up of 8 white cotton squares, 360 x 360mm, each with a differently coloured crinoline lady appliqued in buttonhole stitch. The squares are divided by bands of yellow cotton. It is hand quilted. The padding is kapok or cotton and the backing is red cotton.

Wholecloth quilt with the top of red satin and the other side of faded red cotton. All hand stitched. The quilting pattern is a five petal flower in the centre of a circle with parallel lines radiating to the border. The padding is raw cotton.

Crazy patchwork stitched on to an old sheet. Machine constructed with 2 sides similar. It is made from left over dressmaking materials of the fifties. The 2 sides with cotton wadding in between are bound together with a 55mm pink and white gingham binding.

Utility quilt. Pieced pink brocade type material from old curtains forms panels down both sides. Also used in the other quilt by the same maker. The centre is a single piece of lightweight check material. Single/double thread quilting stitches. The padding is hessian and the backing is a heavy woollen type tweed.

Cotton quilt machine pieced from 64mm squares in blues, aqua and white, arranged in a straight furrows set. Machine quilted on the seam lines. The padding is cotton and the backing is cotton poplin. Bias binding has been used on the edges.

Hand pieced cotton quilt in Grandmother's Flower Garden pattern. Shirtings, chintzes, roller prints. 240mm ruffle in paisley pattern on 3 sides, probably a later addition. The backing is a heavy Indian cotton possibly also put on later. There is no quilting at all. There is no padding.
