Collection of unique materials recording the history of the Marrickville area (includes Newtown, Marrickville, Stanmore, Petersham, Tempe, Dulwich Hill and St. Peters).
5 hectare Japanese Garden including two lakes, tea house, bonsai house, pottery house, cottage, restaurant and cultural centre. Cultural Centre includes three galleries of exhibits of Nanga paintings, dolls, kimonos, masks, ceramics and many items relevant to Japanese arts and culture.
The University Art Collection, like all art collections reflects those who assembled it. The Collection has been accumulating since the 1940's as educational institutions amalgamated and became subsumed by The Charles Sturt University.
The Bega Valley Genealogy Society is housed in the Old Pambula Courthouse and Police Station, a heritage listed building.
The Australian Credit Union Archives collects, records and maintains material of historical and archival importance to the Australian Credit Union Movement. An Archivist, Administrative Staff and Volunteers staff its office.170 shelf metres
Film and audio cassettes of historical relevance to the north and north-west of New South Wales, Australia. Most film was sourced from regional television stations.
Artefacts and local history are our main theme. Our museum is a two story brick building situated in Murrumburrah, with exhibits on both floors.
About 1856 the museum building, originally a hotel, was built by James Mortal a rubble mason. Some of the original stonework can be seen as foundations for the verandah and the kitchen walls.
Woodford Academy, the oldest building on the Blue Mountains, is one of the most intact and substantial examples of an early colonial inn (C1833-1867), known at first as "The Woodman" and later as "The Kings Arms".
Griffith Pioneer Park Museum is an open air museum, located on 11ha of bush reserve 2 kms from the centre of Griffith.
The Sydney Tramway Museum is Australia's oldest tramway museum and the largest in the Southern Hemisphere and is located in the Southern Sydney suburb of Loftus. The Sydney tramway service was a world class undertaking operating 1535 tramcars at its peak.

The Society was formed in 1963 and since 1968 has opeated a museum in the former School of Arts building, which is heritage-listed. The purpose of the Museum is the collecting, preserving and interpreting of local heritage for everyone.

The University of Wollongong Science Centre and Planetarium was established in late 1989 and quickly became the most popular science based excursion venue in the Illawarra. In addition, the Centre has become a major tourist attraction.

Orange Regional Gallery is set in landscaped gardens in the middle of the Civic Square and was awarded the Sulman Prize for Architectural Merit. It is a functional, elegant gallery with a reputation for showing very fine work.
The Illawarra Museum collection is held in the first purpose-built Post and Telegraph Museum in Wollongong (1882-1892). The Museum operates on a voluntary basis. The objects collected and displayed relate to Illawarra's past with particular emphasis on the years at the close of the 19th Century.
Museum is part of the Visitors Centre. Montague Island is 7km (5.7 Nautical Miles) off Narooma, and is the largest inshore island on the NSW coast.
