Golden Dragon Museum

The Golden Dragon Museum is the first museum in Victoria to become accredited through the museum accreditation program in 1997. The Golden Dragon Museum provides a living history of The Chinese people of Bendigo from the goldrush of the 1850's to the present day.

Griffiths Sea Shell Museum and Marine Display

Montsalvat Trust

Established as an artists' colony in the 1930s by Justus Jorgensen, Montsalvat is a cluster of medieval-styled buildings. The Great Hall contains paintings by Jorgensen and other members of the group.

Sharps Magic Movie House and Penny Arcade

Situated in the refurbished Old Bond Store, the Movie House runs almost continuous screenings of highlights of Australia's early newsreels, comedy classics and archival shots. At the back of the Theatre is Australia's largest and only working Penny Arcade.

Corps of Commissionaires Memorial Gallery

The Corps of Commissionaires facilitates the transfer of capability from the uniformed services to other work situations.

Historical Society of Mooroopna Inc

The Historical Society of Mooroopna is situated in the historic Mooroopna Manor, which was previously the Mooroopna Hosipital. The Museum is located on the 1st floor of the manor, in the former hospital operating suite.

Katamatite Museum

This local history collection includes a growing photographic collection of local World War I and World War II veterans. A shed added in 1995 houses farming machinery and tools of local interest.600 items plus photographs.

Horsham Regional Art Gallery

Horsham Regional Art Gallery is housed in a fine art deco building, recently refurbished and extended in recent years. We have four temporary exhibition spaces featuring changing exhibitions of contemporary and traditional art photography.

East Gippsland Historical Society Inc.

The former Bairnsdale College (1891) contains a display on farming machinery, a bark roof log cabin, a country community hall/school and historic domestic items. Photographic and archival material relating to the history of East Gippsland is stored at the Resource Centre.

Shepparton Art Gallery

The Gallery has recently undergone major refurbishment and now has new and larger facilities. It houses a broad collection of Australian paintings, prints and drawings and features a significant and comprehensive collection of Australian ceramics.c. 4,000 (mainly ceramics)

The Man from Snowy River Folk Museum

Northcote Pottery has been producing terracotta pottery for over one hundred years. The historic site houses a variety of pottery manufacturing business from Australia's largest manufacturer of terracotta garden pots, to small artist studios.
